The Cleaning Nazi

The familiar pattern in my house when I clean is that as soon as I have finished straightening one room, my son follows closely behind me and makes as big of a mess as he can in that room while I am cleaning the next. I then double back to pick up his mess in the previous room before moving on. Today however when I went back to pick up his assumed mess I saw him putting the last of the train set (he had just dumped out all over the floor) back into the box, put the lid on, head over to the vacuum I had left sitting on the floor, turned it on and vacuumed the floor he had just played on - all by himself! I know it may be a little sick but, I was so proud....maybe my husband's nickname for me isn't as far off as I thought...=(
