This Christmas was so much fun! I was worried because we weren't going to be with family, but then my parents called and told us they were coming! You can tell how much fun we had by the lack of pictures...oops. Anyway - Christmas Eve was filled with food and food and more food. We even tried to fry buffalo wings (I don't recommend attempting fried foods for the first time ever in your kitchen on a major holiday with guests...just a terrible idea folks).
Our gift exchange was extra fun because it included grandma and grandpa warren.
Gpa gave ------> Keely an heirloom silver dollar that's been passed down now 4 generations
Gma gave------> Asher a knit hat that he insisted he wear on his head to bed that night
Keely gave ---->Gma her first cross stitch ever
Asher gave----->Gpa an ornament with his picture on it
I gave ---------->Justin a framed picture of maps cut into hearts of every place we have lived togetherJustin gave------>Me a bookmark pounded and shaped out of different pepsi cans
Christmas started with Santa gifts like every year - (they look they just rolled out of bed because they did, but since the big day landed on a Sun. this year, they threw on church clothes - please don't think I actually brought my children to church looking this homeless) Keely got some toys that exchange shells
and Asher got a new razor scooter - great thing about living in Cal is that outdoor toys are actually fun Christmas gifts :)
This year, we ate breakfast and headed to church for a short 1 hour program before we came back to open the rest of the presents...
Keely got more dear dumb diary's...her new favorite series at the time, a hippo pillow pet, more lps (of course), art supplies including real canvas' and a paint set, squinkies, a dear dumb diary of her own, a fairy shrinky dink set,etc
Asher got socker boppers to beat up on his gpa, dad, and most of all, keely, a scooby-do wii game, a dog pillow pet, dagadar balls and race set, a new space puzzle, etc
The big presents were saved for last of course, with Asher's being a real remote control car that the wheels come apart to maneuver on rough terrain and can flip off of walls - driving upside down - A boys dream car for sure
Keely's big present which she didn't think she was getting was a ...a talking robot that dances and sings for those of you not familiar. She was in heaven.
the toys took hardly anytime to put together this year (some years it takes hours upon hours), so we had a pretty relaxing day
