That's right - it's that time of year when the parents come to school to hear all about what their kids been up to all the time they're not with you....
Well, to start off, Keely was so nervous (poor thing) even though we tried to reassure her that it was no big deal and we would only hear good things..and there was no way she would be in trouble from anything that was said...she still started with a disclaimer:
"Well, sometimes I let myself get distracted by Tyson when he's talking to me and we're supposed to be listening....(worried look)"
Of course, we all know her worries were silly - her report says that she is "at the top of the class in reading and math skills...listens to and follows directions well, and always completes tasks and assignments" yay keely! she got 4's and 3.5's on everything :)
the best news was that her teacher is going to start sending home actual books to read just for her....but she doesn't want her to get too far ahead because then she'll be bored...yah, I'm going to hold my child back just that she doesn't get bored with your worthless teaching...(not going to happen) but I digress....hooray!! no more wordless book nonsense! made my day. :)
