A week before Keely's 5th birthday

Keely: very seriously: Mom, I have to tell you something.

Mom: What's that sweetie?

Keely: I'm really going to miss 4... I had a lot of great times being 4... Sometimes when you get older it's hard and sad.

Mom: trying not to laugh: That's true, but think of all the amazing things and fun times your going to have being 5. (we talked for a while about that).

Mom: So, how are feeling about being 5?

Keely: Oh, I am very excited!!
