Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was so fun. We had all the yummy food we usually do (keely even got gluten free cinnamon bread and extra chocolaty cookies) I made an exceptionally good wassil this year :) We played Blockus, went driving to see all the neighborhood lights (the scouts line the streets with candles each year) and ran into Santa himself! the kids got candy canes and a chance to ring his special bells. When we got home Keely had planned a musical program for us complete with instruments :) Asher took his own turn while we sang for him :) Keely set up the Nativity scene so she could act it out as daddy read the bible story.Daddy also read the Christmas book this year (we do a different one each year) then we opened our homemade gifts from eachother (for those of you who don't know, we each make a gift that doesn't cost any money for one family member each x-mas eve). We set out cookies and milk for the main man and off to bed...
